This is the Minelab Manticore test page, i will be doing something similar for all the detectors i test in the future.

Below are the 82 targets, 3 different coils, all on the same settings i use, Multi Freq is of course the main one, but i will be testing all the frequencies individually as well, the results page is a bit cramped, but it's the only way i can fit it on the space i have.

Below are 1275 tests, and that is just on the general search mode , when i eventually test all the search modes Low/Conductive/High Conductive/Trash Reject/Fast it will be a total of 7650 test's!

Don't worry i am not going to make a Video showing you all 7650 test's , i think the most keen viewer would cringe at that, i will be just making a 'highlights' video.

The 'criteria' is just what i am basing the Yes (1) No (0) results on. 

 

It's all based on what i would i dig or not dig, most detectorists would not dig some of the signals i get, that's where the video will come in useful.

Each test page will of course vary (according to which detector i am testing) but they will all be given a score on the best results, some will be very simple, for instance a Tesoro or any of the older detectors will not have multiple choices of settings, with only 2 knobs all you can do is to get the discrimination where you want it to lose nails and turn up the sensitivity, so 82 tests in all (unless of course i have several coils).

 

After i have filled in all the blank spaces below ( Hopefully in the next few days) i will move onto the next detector, probably the Deus 2 and so on
